17th Annual Agape House Chili Cook-Off & Cookie Chill-Off

This is our primary fundraiser of the year, generating as much as 20% of our ministry fund. All proceeds directly benefit outreach ministry at San Diego State.
The goal for 2020 is to raise $20,000.

Here are important steps you need to know:
① Complete this online Registration Form, then pay online here or send in the registration fee by Monday, APRIL 27th! (Check made payable to Agape House.)
② Hold a congregational cook-off and/or special offering to raise $$$ toward your winning entry at the main event. The more money you raise before the main event, the better your chances are to win the bragging rights and the highly coveted Golden Ladle or Golden Spatula awards! The congregation raising the most money for the ministry with their chili wins the Golden Ladle and with their cookie, the Golden Spatula. Please bring the total amount of funds raised for chili and cookies to the event in two separate checks.
NEW this year in addition to “tips” given at the event, attendees will receive two “chips,” one to vote for their favorite chili and one to vote for their favorite cookie. A new award for BEST CHILI and BEST COOKIE will be given.
③ If you know who your chef or baker is to be, please include on the registration form where indicated. If not, PLEASE let us know the name and email of the person as soon as you can. That way we can communicate with them directly. You can email us name(s) at email@example.com. THANK YOU!
④ Get cookin'/bakin'! Bring your friends, along with 12 quarts of your chili and/or 8 dozen of your cookies, to the main event. PLEASE check-in and set up between 2:15 and 2:30pm.
⑤ Then talk up and serve up your chili and/or cookies from 3pm-5pm. Receive “tips” and "chips" in your tip jar until 5pm. We will then collect, tally, and submit your totals to the judges.
